Mining Site Manager at Fadel Minerals Nig Ltd

Job Summary:

We are in search of a capable Mining Site Manager to oversee the operational activities at our site. The ideal candidate will coordinate daily operations, create work plans, and manage staff and workers effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, fluency in Hausa, and a willingness to travel within northern states, primarily from Abuja. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily work plans for efficient site operations.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff and workers, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of on-site personnel, including miners, engineers, and support staff.
• Monitor progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet targets and deadlines.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and resolve issues.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required, detailing operational activities and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Not more than 35 years old.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role.
• Willingness to travel within northern states, primarily from Abuja.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing teams or projects.
• Ability to adapt to diverse work environments and collaborate effectively with different teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the mining industry or a related field.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Familiarity with mining equipment and technology.
• Fluent in Hausa with excellent communication skills.

Note: Candidates without a degree in the specified fields must demonstrate significant experience in leadership roles or project management. Previous experience in managing people or projects will be considered.
