Medical Laboratory Scientist at Aniso Specialist Medical Centre

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Medical Laboratory Scientist to carry out diagnostic tests and provide accurate laboratory results that support clinical decisions.
• The ideal candidate must demonstrate laboratory competence, confidentiality and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various laboratory tests on patient samples.
• Analyse test results and deliver timely and accurate reports to physicians.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory hygiene and safety protocols.
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of biological samples.
• Manage documentation and quality control measures in accordance with hospital standards.
• Participate in internal and external quality assurance schemes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) Degree.
• Full registration and current license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Must reside in Benin city.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity and accuracy.
• Proficient in basic computer use and comfortable with hospital software systems.
