    Medical Diagnostic Front Desk Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Medical Diagnostic Front Desk Officer is responsible for managing the front desk operations of our medical diagnostic facility.
    • This includes greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling patient registration, verifying insurance, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments.

    Key Responsibilities
    Patient Registration and Scheduling:

    • Greet patients, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Schedule appointments, verify patient information, and ensure accurate data entry.
    • Manage patient flow and minimize wait times.

    Insurance Verification and Billing:

    • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
    • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other payments.
    • Assist with billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

    Communication and Customer Service:

    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues.
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other departments.
    • Ensure patients are informed about procedures, results, and any other relevant information.

    Administrative Tasks:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
    • Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling correspondence.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

    Compliance and Confidentiality:

    • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Adhere to facility policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Experience: Previous experience in a medical front desk or customer service role is desirable.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.

    Working Conditions:

    • Work environment is a medical diagnostic facility/ Hospital
    • May require occasional overtime or flexible scheduling.
