The Marketing and Communications Manager, West Africa will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing and communication strategies to enhance Alaro City's brand awareness and promote its projects across the West African region.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that align with Alaro City’s goals and objectives.
Create and manage content across various platforms, including social media, website, press releases, and marketing collateral.
Engage with media outlets and build strong relationships with journalists and influencers within the West African region.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making adjustments as necessary to optimize reach and impact.
Organize and oversee events, exhibitions, and campaigns to promote Alaro City, its projects, and its benefits.
Conduct market research to identify trends, understand competitors, and gather insights to inform marketing strategies.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment of marketing efforts and messaging.
Monitor brand reputation and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Provide leadership and guidance to a small team of marketing professionals.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Line Manager.
Requirements
Hard skills and experience:
At least 7 years’ experience in marketing and communications, preferably in real estate, urban development, or a similar industry.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content.
Soft skills:
Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
