The Manager - Telesales is responsible for managing outsourced agencies, Telesales Team leads, and Telesales specialists, driving optimum performance and ensuring the team meets the expected targets and performance levels.
The Manager, Telesales would work with the Head of Growth to manage the day-to-day operation of the Telesales.
He/She would directly be responsible for interfacing with our partners, ensuring they deliver the expected service levels as well as escalating blockers, issues, and feedback critical to the performance of the team and our partners.
He / She supervises a team of Telesales Specialists calling on customers as assigned.
Oversee Daily Call allocation and Reporting.
Upselling and driving client conversions.
Promote and maintain a high level of work rate and motivation within the team.
Train and support the team to ensure that sales targets are met.
Writing sales scripts and customer answer sheets.
Manage and process Outsourced Invoices for approval and Payments.
Ensures that established goals and quotas for the team are reached and motivates them to meet these goals.
Consistently evaluate the performance of telesales representatives, and ensure discipline and corrective actions where necessary.
Analyses and proactively responds to quantitative and qualitative sales and performance results. Provides feedback to staff and creates and maintains performance review documentation.
Preparing and updating effective daily call plans for TSRs for productive customer relationship management.
Handling escalated customer complaints.
Compiling and presenting telesales reports.
Requirements
You have 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years managing a telesales team.
Previous experience working with commercial/Digital banks.
Good Knowledge of Excel, Tableau, and Microsoft application Programmes.
Experience managing outsourced agencies is an advantage.
Track record of achieving results in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, human services, or a similar field.
Ability to delegate effectively but keep an eye on the ball and lead by example.
Strong managerial and sales skills.
Innovative with the ability to spot business opportunities.
