Job Summary

• The Dental Therapist provides preventive and basic restorative dental care, promotes oral health education, and supports dentists in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oral examinations, scaling, polishing, and fluoride application
• Carry out basic restorative procedures within scope of practice
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Take dental impressions and radiographs as required
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection control protocols
• Refer patients to dentists when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Dental Therapy
• Valid practicing license
• Good communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
