The role:
Flutterwave is looking for a Manager, Sales Operations who will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our sales processes, systems, and data to support the achievement of our ambitious sales goals. This role will act as a strategic partner to the sales leadership team, providing insights, analysis, and operational support to enhance sales productivity and efficiency
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be Like:
Sales Planning & Strategy:
- Assist in the development of sales plans and strategies.
- Support the sales team in achieving their sales quotas and objectives.
- Manage sales incentive programs and track performance.
- Support territory planning and sales goal setting
Sales Reporting & Analytics:
- Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to sales leadership.
- Forecast sales performance and provide recommendations for achieving sales targets.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Develop, implement, and maintain efficient sales processes to streamline the sales cycle and improve conversion rates.
- Identify and address bottlenecks in the sales process, recommending and implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
- Document and communicate sales processes and best practices to the sales team.
Sales Systems & Technology:
- Manage and optimize our CRM (e.g., Freshsales) and other sales-related tools.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CRM system.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
- Provide training and support to the sales team on CRM and other sales tools.
Sales Enablement:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales collateral and resources.
- Support the development and delivery of sales training programs.
- Ensure the sales team has access to the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, finance, product, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments.
Required competency and skill set to be a Waver
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 7-9 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in a fintech or technology company.
- Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization (Powerbi, Tableau, Excel) is mandatory
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Proven track record of optimizing sales processes and improving sales efficiency
- Strong proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in sales forecasting and reporting.
- Understanding of sales methodologies.
- Strong Project management abilities.
