    Manager, Agrochemical Sales

    Key Responsibilities

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Agrochemical Sales to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our agrochemical product line. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The Manager, Agrochemical Sales will also be responsible for providing market insights, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive the growth of the agrochemical product line, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
    • Develop and execute strategies to enter new and emerging markets.
      Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including farmers, distributors, and retailers, to generate sales opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
    • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape through market research and analysis. Utilize insights to develop strategies that give the company a competitive advantage.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and effective product positioning.
    • Monitor sales trends, analyze sales data, and generate regular sales reports. Identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address any gaps.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes related to agrochemical products. Share knowledge with the team and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility, network with potential customers, and identify business opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and other sales-related documentation to support effective planning and decision-making.
      Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous learning within the sales team.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in agrochemical sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
    • In-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry, including a strong understanding of crop protection products, fertilizers, and related agricultural inputs.
    • Proven experience in fertilizer and herbicide sales.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, including market segmentation, customer targeting, and value proposition development.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
    • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in using sales CRM systems and other sales-related software tools.
    • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
    • A passion for the agricultural industry and a genuine interest in contributing to sustainable agriculture and food production.
