Technical Sales Executive at Life Flour Mill Limited

Job summary

The job entails technically supporting, sales and promotion of new/ existing products and any special deals. Most important is providing the technical support to the bakeries on process efficiency, cost reduction on input, hygiene, stock management and store conditions.  Where customers have challenges important to address and support the customer in line with the company directives and standards. Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service. Recording orders and sending details to the sales office. Giving regular feedback on sales trends and market dynamics.

Duties & Responsibilities

The position is responsible for the following main activities:

• To maintain and service the existing customer base of the company with the company products.
• Audit the customers and develop and action plan on improvement on productivity and cost reduction.
• Provide technical support to bakeries.
• Have daily / weekly account on usage of flour, to monitor that customer will re-order timely.
• Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company products to both old and new customers.
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
• To be able to deliver and exceed month sales target.
• Grow with the strategy of the company of increasing Bakery customer base.
• Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
• To always scan the industry in relation to competition and present SWOT analysis to the regional manager for management decision making.
• To perform other duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements:

• BSc/HND in Marketing and any other Social Science discipline
• Not less than 2- years post-graduation experience in a similar position in an FMCG company
• Good knowledge of the bakery process (not only baking)
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Good critical and analytic skill
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office packages
• Good oral and written communication skill
• Good interpersonal relationship skill
• High Integrity
• Must be between 30 – 40 years of age
