Maintenance Officer
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification OND
- Experience 2 - 3 years
- Location Lagos
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
- Salary Range ₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month
- Perform basic electrical repairs and ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary.
- Complete overall building cleaning and maintenance.
- Perform basic repairs on company machinery, equipment or appliances.
- Detect and report the need for major maintenance and repairs.
- Manage budgets for repair/maintenance activities and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and safety standards.
- Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance routines on equipment.
- Inspect building’s structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimise costs.
- Source for vendors as required
- Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, janitors etc.) and external vendors/contractors.
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Keep a record of all maintenance/repairs carried out.
- Draft and maintain maintenance schedules for all appliances and equipment.
- Draft and maintain maintenance checklists for the restaurant, production centre, and staff quarters.
- Repair doors, ceilings, base, handrails, etc. as needed.
- Present reports on facility maintenance and projects.
- Other duties assigned by your manager.
