Maintenance / Mechanical Manager at Costarchem Nigeria Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance/Mechanical Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our factory.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and availability of all plant machinery while minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to deliver on daily and long-term objectives.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement lasting solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production and Operations teams to support seamless workflow.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams and factory equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and industrial machinery.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
