The Maintenance Field Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing fabric maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and quality standards.
This role involves coordinating coating, insulation, scaffolding, fireproofing, and structural refurbishment activities at various work sites.
The incumbent will work closely with contractors, project engineers, and HSE teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of fabric maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day execution of fabric maintenance activities in line with developed schedules and work scopes.
Supervise field crews, ensuring adherence to approved work procedures, technical specifications, and industry best practices.
Ensure proper surface preparation, coating, insulation, scaffolding, and fireproofing are implemented.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with engineering standards and NLNG policies.
Enforce NLNG’s HSE policies, site safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
Serve as the site focal point for contractor activities, ensuring compliance with project schedules and contractual obligations.
Participate in visual inspections, adhesion tests, and other quality control checks for coatings and corrosion protection systems
Address field execution challenges, ensuring minimal disruptions and timely problem resolution.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical, Civil, Materials, or Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabric maintenance, asset integrity, and field supervision within LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries.
Strong knowledge of coatings, insulation, scaffolding, and fireproofing techniques.
Familiarity with international engineering standards.
Experience in managing contractors, work permits, and field execution in high-risk environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and asset integrity management systems.
