Legal Intern at Impact HER Africa

Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to support our legal and compliance functions. This is a full-time internship designed to provide hands-on experience in NGO operations, women-focused entrepreneurship programs, and legal advisory support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with legal research and drafting of legal documents
• Support contract review and documentation
• Assist with compliance, governance, and regulatory matters
• Support program teams with legal insights related to entrepreneurship and business law
• Maintain legal records and documentation
• Perform other legal-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Recent law graduate or final-year law student
• Strong interest in NGO work, women empowerment, and entrepreneurship
• Basic knowledge of corporate, commercial, or NGO law
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Internship Details

• This is a full-time, unpaid internship
• Monthly stipend will be provided
• Data/internet subscription will be provided
• Duration: 12 months
