As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our logistics operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
You will work closely with our logistics team to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies to streamline operations, and implement solutions to enhance our overall logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate logistical data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor logistics performance.
Identify cost-saving opportunities by negotiating with vendors and optimizing carrier contracts.
Research and stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the implementation of new systems or processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide recommendations to management based on data analysis and industry knowledge
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in logistics analysis or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for success in this role.
