    Legal Officer

    Job objectives

    • Are you a dedicated and solution driven legal professional with a passion for providing expert legal counsel and support in a consulting firm?
    • We are actively seeking a highly motivated and success driven Legal Officer to join our reputable team.
    • As a Legal Officer at Estrada International Staffing Solutions, you will spearhead crucial initiatives, ensuring legal compliance, designing cutting-edge service level agreements, expertly resolving conflicts, and offering unparalleled guidance in corporate and labor law matters.

    Principal Duties / Responsibilities

    • Provide and drive expert legal guidance on corporate affairs, regulatory compliance, and other corporate -related issues
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific service requirements and expectations.
    • Draft SLAs that clearly define the scope of services, performance metrics, responsibilities, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
    • Ensure SLAs are legally sound, compliant with relevant regulations, and designed to protect both the interests of the client and the company.
    • Advising and adhering to employment law compliance, including wage and hour regulations, workplace discrimination, and employee rights.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws.
    • Provide legal guidance on issues related to hiring, termination, employee benefits, and workplace safety.
    • Identifying and assessing conflicts, whether they involve contractual disputes, employment issues, or regulatory matters.
    • Developing and implementing conflict resolution strategies, which may involve negotiation, mediation, or, in extreme cases, litigation.
    • Ensuring that resolutions are achieved in a timely and fair manner, minimizing disruption to clients' operations and maintaining positive relationships
    • Staying updated on changes in laws and regulations to proactively address compliance issues and mitigate risks.
    • Collaborating with clients to address compliance gaps and develop corrective action plans..

    Job Requirements
    To be successful in the role of a Legal Officer, candidates should meet the following requirements:

    • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
    • Consulting Expertise: A track record of at least 2 years in a consulting environment, showcasing your ability to thrive in dynamic, client-focused settings.
    • Subject-Matter Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in corporate law, labor law, and HR practices.
    • SLA Design: Proven experience in designing, optimizing, and implementing service level agreements.

    Key Competencies:

    • Legal Expertise: Strong understanding of corporate law, labor law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear and practical guidance.
    • SLA Design: Proficiency in creating and designing Service Level Agreements that align with client needs and industry standards.
    • Conflict Resolution: Exceptional conflict resolution skills with the ability to handle disputes professionally and efficiently.
    • Compliance Management: Experience in developing and managing compliance programs, including policies, procedures, and audits.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey legal concepts and negotiate with clients and regulatory agencies.
    • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess legal issues and propose solutions.
    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documentation and compliance processes.
