Legal Associate at Zylus Group International

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate deeds of assignment, contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Provide legal advice on property acquisitions, leasing, and sales.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage disputes and litigation, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Conduct due diligence on property titles and legal ownership.
• Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
• Monitor and advise on changes in property laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and a valid license (call to bar) to practice law in Nigeria.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal practice after call to bar, preferably in real estate or property law.
• Strong knowledge of property laws, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
