About the Role
We are seeking for our client an experienced Learning & Development Consultant.
This is a client-facing consulting and business development role for a professional who can diagnose organizational challenges, design credible learning and capability solutions, develop strong client relationships, and convert opportunities into sustainable business partnerships.
The role combines performance consulting, solution design, proposal development, consultative selling, and key-account development.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with executives, HR/L&D leaders, and business stakeholders to diagnose organisational and performance challenges.
- Design integrated solutions across leadership development, management capability, assessments, strategy, organisational effectiveness, digital learning, and advisory services.
- Lead the development of compelling proposals, executive presentations, technical responses, and pitch materials.
- Manage qualified business opportunities from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for renewals, account expansion, cross-selling, referrals, and long-term partnerships.
- Develop account plans and strategies aligned with client priorities and future business needs.
- Work with consultants, subject-matter experts, partners, and programme teams to ensure effective solution delivery.
- Capture client outcomes and insights to strengthen future solutions, products, and intellectual property.
What We're Looking For
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in L&D consulting, organisational development, performance consulting, management consulting, HR advisory, or a related professional-services environment.
- At least 3 years in a client-facing role involving discovery, solution design, proposal development, and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Proven contribution to business development, account growth, complex proposal wins, or revenue conversion.
- Strong understanding of performance consulting and root-cause diagnosis.
- Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong business acumen and commercial judgement.
- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree required, postgraduate qualification in Business, Organizational Psychology, HR, Education, Strategy, or a related field is an advantage.
