Laundry Attendant at Natafamdaivid Consulting Nig. Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and inspect laundry for stains, damage, or special care instructions
• Operate washing machines, dryers, steamers, irons, and other laundry equipment
• Use appropriate detergents and chemicals for different fabric types
• Fold, hang, and package clean laundry for delivery or storage
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry room
• Track and record laundry items for inventory and accountability
• Ensure timely completion of laundry tasks to meet operational needs
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
• Handle guests’ or clients’ items with care and confidentiality (for hotel or private clients)

Requirements

• Prior experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is an advantage
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• SSCE/WAEC or equivalent minimum
• Basic training in laundry operations or hospitality is an added advantage
