Role Summary

• The Hotel Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. 
• The role ensures a high standard of hygiene and presentation, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and weigh dirty laundry (bed linens, towels, uniforms, guest items, etc.).
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Use appropriate chemicals and detergents in the correct amounts.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear, and treat stains or report damaged items.
• Fold, hang, and store clean laundry neatly and efficiently.
• Distribute laundered items to appropriate departments (housekeeping, kitchen, etc.).
• Ensure guest laundry is processed according to specific instructions and returned on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
• Follow hotel procedures and safety standards to ensure proper handling of linens and equipment.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 4 years work experience.
