Kitchen Assistant at ECLAT HR Consulting

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):

• Ensure the kitchen, including surfaces, equipment, and utensils, are clean and sanitized according to food safety regulations.
• Assist in basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients for cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchenware, including plates, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Support the chefs in preparing ingredients or dishes as required, ensuring they are ready for cooking or serving.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirement

• 1–2 years’ experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina for standing and lifting.
