We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused custodian to ensure our office premises are well-maintained and inviting at all times. The ideal candidate will be attentive, dependable, and capable of handling cleaning duties with minimal supervision.

YOU'LL GET TO

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the office premises, including lobbies, restrooms, work areas, meeting rooms, and customer waiting areas.
• Greet clients and assist in creating a welcoming environment upon entry into the office.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and carpets.
• Dust and clean office furniture, glass partitions, windows, all surfaces etc.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies (soap, toilet paper, hand towels).
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Monitor and report any facility maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, lighting problems).
• Ensure rest areas, kitchenettes, and other shared spaces remain clean and hygienic.
• Assist with setting up spaces for meetings or events, when required.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Lock and unlock doors and secure premises as required.
• Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a sanitary environment.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in janitorial, cleaning, or custodial work (office/commercial/industrial environment preferred).
• Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-service mindset.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good time management skills.
• Basic understanding of cleaning products and safe usage practices.
• Good communication skills.
