The company is seeking to hire an Inventory Officer who is responsible for tracking stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting replenishment processes to prevent stock outs or overstocking across all hubs and retail locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Track inventory levels across warehouses and stores.
Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliation, and variance reporting.
Monitor goods-in and goods-out flows and ensure records match physical stock.
Generate stock reports to support procurement decisions.
Flag fast- and slow-moving items and recommend stock adjustments compliance tracking.
Ensure accurate updates in inventory management software (IMS).
Maintain stock ledgers, product SKUs, and bar coding.
Monitor inventory shrinkage and investigate discrepancies.
Support stock audits and enforce inventory control procedures.
Ensure inventory processes align with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Prepare documentation for goods received and issued.
Requirements
Good first degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP/IMS).
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
