    Inventory Finance Manager

    Location: Obajana DCT, Obajana DCT, Nigeria

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Finance Manager to lead our inventory finance functions. This role is critical to ensure the accuracy of all inventory-related financial transactions and reporting within the organization. You will oversee the reconciliation of inventory accounts, optimize inventory costs, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the inventory accounting processes, including inventory valuation and reporting.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure that financial statements are accurate and complete.
    • Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
    • Analyze inventory metrics and provide management with insights to improve operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement inventory finance policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.
    • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analyses related to inventory to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls relating to inventory processing and reporting.

    Qualifications and Work Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Professional accounting certification such as ACA or ACCA is highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience in finance, with a focus on inventory management.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Proficiency in financial software and accounting packages, especially SAP.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    • Extensive knowledge of inventory accounting and finance principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High levels of integrity and ethical standards.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
