Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for an Internal Control Manager.
• The Internal Control Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust internal control framework to ensure organizational compliance and mitigate risks.
• The role includes monitoring and evaluating processes, conducting regular audits, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and compliance, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Experience conducting audits, analyzing processes, and identifying operational inefficiencies
• Project management, organizational, and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and understanding financial reporting standards
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or a similar qualification are a plus
• Experience in software or IT-related industries is an advantage
