ICT Intern at Walex Biz Nigeria Limited

Job Summary

The ICT Intern will support the organization’s ICT department in the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, and related technologies. This role provides hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, and basic networking while developing practical technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support for staff on computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other ICT equipment.
• Support network operations, including internet connectivity and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist in maintaining ICT inventory, logs, and documentation.
• Help with software installations, updates, and antivirus management.
• Support data backup procedures and basic system security practices.
• Assist in resolving minor ICT issues and escalate complex problems to the ICT Officer.
• Participate in ICT-related projects as assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure proper handling and care of ICT equipment.

Requirements and Qualifications

• OND/HND/BSc student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and internet applications.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality.

Remuneration

• Stipend: 70,000 - 100,000
