A cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas. Typical job duties for a cleaner include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilet and kitchens
- Notifying supervisors of any maintenance or repair issues
- Removing cobwebs
- Emptying waste baskets
- Cleaning window sills and mirrors
- Dusting furniture
- Making sure that the premises are safe and orderly.
