    Human Resources Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Shall develop and execute comprehensive Human Resources (HR) strategies that align with the company's business objectives and goals;
    • Shall design and implement training programs to improve personnel skills and performance, driving business results and personnel engagement;
    • Shall manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding process for new personnel's, ensuring a seamless transition into the company and fostering a positive company culture;
    • Shall provide professional guidance and support to management and personnel's on HR-related matters, ensuring effective communication and personnel relations;
    • Shall conduct performance appraisals, manage personnel employment benefits, compensation and performance management systems to ensure fairness, equity and compliance with relevant Nigerian labor laws and regulations;
    • Shall analyze and report on HR metrics and trends to inform business decisions, identify areas for improvement and drive strategic planning;
    • Shall collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication, alignment and integration of HR initiatives with the company’s business objectives.

    Qualifications & Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field;
    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (is desirable) CERTIFICATION IN HR- CIPM OR SHPRI
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, of which three (3) years in a senior HR role / management level experience in leading the team;
    • Leadership, autonomy, integrity and strong capacity to facilitate teamwork; Conflict management capacity;
    • Professional certifications in HR management.

    Skills & Experience

    • Must have experience in a Senior Management Position
    • Must have experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and performance management software
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment laws and labor relations
    • Must have experience in personnel relations, conflict resolution and mediation
    • Shall possess strong personnel management skills
    • Shall possess excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Shall have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Shall possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
    • Must be able to manage personnel in multiple locations with minimal supervision
    • Must have good practical organization skills
    • Must be able to provide both summarized and detailed reports on personnel activities
    • Must be attentive
    • Shall possess proven negotiating skills
    • Must have clear understanding of the professional, ethical, legal and industrial responsibilities relevant to the position
    • Shall possess the ability to inspire confidence and create trust within the company
    • Shall possess the ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate
    • Must be a problem solver and critical thinker
    • Must possess excellent communication skills (written, spoken, composing, presenting)
    • Must be computer literate / able to use Microsoft Office and HR Management software's.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
    • Skills in performance management and development of HR strategies
    • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to manage HR policies and procedures
    • Experience in conflict resolution and addressing grievances
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
