    Human Resources Manager

    Position Summary:

    • The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of HR strategy and operations, including recruitment, performance management, staff development, and compliance. The successful candidate will bring strategic insight, professionalism, and a strong sense of initiative to foster an efficient, inclusive, and values-driven workplace.

    Expected Results:

    • An effective, motivated, and well-supported workforce with clear HR systems, transparent performance management processes, and a strong organizational culture that aligns with GHI’s mission and values. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with GHI’s goals and values.
    • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes.
    • Manage employee relations and provide advisory support to management and staff.
    • Strengthen performance management and feedback systems.
    • Design and oversee training and staff development initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain up-to-date HR records.
    • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable organizational culture.

    Qualifications and required experiences:

    • A Master's (required) and Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields. 
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources management role.
    • Proven expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labor regulations.
    • Proficiency in HR software and project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Slack, or similar).
    • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
    • Commitment to the mission and values of GHI.
