• The Human Resources Business Partner West Region will be responsible for providing comprehensive Human Resources services to the business at the designated region. This involves coordinating the recruitment and deployment of operatives, implementing HR policies, managing the performance management process, handling employee relations, implementing the manpower plan for the designated region and handling disciplinary and grievance issues.

Workforce Planning & Recruitment

• Coordinating the manpower planning, recruitment and deployment of operatives for the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Forecast manpower needs and requirements across the region and maintain a strong pipeline of operatives for activation.
• Implement effective recruitment and sourcing strategies for manned guarding operatives in the region
• Deploy appropriate strategies to address short manning and minimize income loss and risks to the business and clients

Talent Management & Employee Engagement

• Coordinate the delivery of efficient and responsive employee services to operatives to ensure positive employee experience and retention
• Oversee the company’s performance reviews in AOR, linking individual performance to organizational outcomes, values and core competencies
• Establish and develop relationship with operational management to understand the key performance issues and associated people requirements to meet both current and future organisational challenges
• Ensure the well-being of our operatives and related staff
• Coordinate and liaise with Operations team and ASS division on the training and ups-killing of Halogen operatives. Ensure cadets/operative possess the required skill-set before deployment
• Recommend and drive implementation of effective welfare and reward initiatives to improve engagement and retention of operatives

HR Operations

• Provide employee relations and acting as a liaison between line managers and employees or in providing counsel regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws, managing all disciplinary issues and grievance requests.
• Investigate Human Resources related issues (e.g. Salaries, Harassment, Discrimination, employee disputes, etc.) ensuring that effective and legally compliant resolutions are deployed.
• Work in partnership with the HR team at the HQ to ensure that the appropriate operational HR functions are delivered to employees in AOR
• Management of guards database and ensure readily available, accessible and up-to-date guards data and information including guarantors
• Drive compliance with vetting protocols for the safety of clients and integrity of our operations.
• Implementing a range of HR policies, initiatives and aligning to corporate strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 - 3 years of experience in HR or related field
• Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
