Human Resource Officer at Spurt!

Responsibilities

• Formalise SOPs and job descriptions across all departments
• Oversee performance management, leave schedules, and training plans
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of logistics staff, customer service floaters, and seasonal hires
• Explore and manage staff accommodation initiatives as part of the retention strategy
• Conduct regular team check-ins and pulse surveys to assess morale and identify gaps
• Manage grievance processes and team conflict resolution in collaboration with our HR advisor
• Maintain employee records and ensure statutory compliance (e.g., pensions, HMO, taxes) in collaboration with our finance advisor

Requirements:

• Previous experience in HR, ideally in an SME or startup environment
• Track record of improving team structure, morale, and retention
• Able to work in-person 2–3 days per week minimum
• Comfortable with WhatsApp-driven operations and informal teams, but also able to work with HRIS tools
• Experience supporting hourly-wage workers

Success Indicators

• 100% leave rotation completed without disruption
• Improved SOP compliance across departments
• 2+ team initiatives implemented (e.g., housing, bonuses, wellness)
• Reduction in team turnover or burnout incidents
