    HSE Officer (Solar Panel Manufacturing)

    Job Description

    • The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance in the solar panel manufacturing plant.
    • This includes implementing safety policies, monitoring hazards, and promoting a culture of safe work practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies and procedures .
    • Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
    • Train employees on safety practices, emergency response, and PPE usage.
    • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with environmental laws.
    • Investigate workplace accidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain records of safety inspections and audits.
    • Liaise with government agencies for HSE compliance and certifications.
    • Supervise waste management and pollution control initiatives.
    • Ensure all machinery and equipment meet safety standards.
    • Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
    • Drive continuous improvement in HSE practices.
    • Prepare and present HSE reports to management.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years experience in HSE within manufacturing/industrial settings.
    • Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations .
    • Ability to train and motivate employees on safety culture.
    • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
    • Experience in renewable energy or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
    • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency with HSE software and audit tools.
