    HR / People Operations Officer

    Role Overview

    The HR / People Operations Officer will manage recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking, employee relations, and team development for Cluxmedia’s growing teams. This role will also coordinate all internal team-building initiatives, performance culture programs, and people management processes, ensuring the company attracts, retains, and motivates high-performing talent while maintaining compliance and structure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Talent & Workforce Management

    • Manage end-to-end recruitment for sales, marketing, and support roles
    • Conduct onboarding, orientation, and probation reviews for new hires
    • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation
    • Maintain staff records, attendance, performance data, and reports

    Performance & People Operations

    • Track KPIs, attendance, productivity, and probation outcomes
    • Implement performance management and evaluation frameworks
    • Support payroll coordination, leave management, and HR compliance
    • Handle employee relations, queries, grievances, and disciplinary processes professionally

    Culture & Team Development

    • Coordinate team-building activities, engagement programs, and internal events
    • Support management in building a positive, performance-driven culture
    • Assist with retention strategies and workforce planning
    • Serve as the point of contact for people-related matters

    Requirements & Skills

    • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 1–3 years experience in HR or people operations
    • Strong organizational, documentation, and people management skills
    • Excellent communication, mediation, and conflict-resolution abilities
    • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
    • Knowledge of Nigerian labor practices is an advantage

    Added Advantage (Not Mandatory):

    • Professional HR certifications such as:
    • CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria)
    • Any recognized HR professional certification
