    HR Manager (Solar Panel Manufacturing)

    Job Description

    • The HR Manager will establish and oversee all human resource functions for the new solar manufacturing plant, including recruitment, policy implementation, employee relations, and workforce planning.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up HR frameworks, policies, and procedures from scratch.
    • Lead recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar roles.
    • Drive employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
    • Manage payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
    • Foster positive employee relations and handle grievances.
    • Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Conduct performance appraisals and support career development.
    • Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover.
    • Monitor workforce productivity and propose improvement plans.
    • Ensure alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
    • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.
    • Collaborate with management on strategic workforce planning.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Business, or related field.
    • 5+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor law.
    • Experience managing blue-collar workers.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office tools.
    • CIPM certification is an advantage.
    • Ability to work in a startup/greenfield environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
