As the Human Resources Intern, you will support our HR department with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role offers hands-on experience across key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and policy review. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, passionate about Human Resources, and interested in contributing to both our internal teams and client projects.
Specific job functions include:
Support end-to-end recruitment activities for the organization, academy, and clients: drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, screening resumes, administering assessments, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, issuing offer letters, and sending rejection emails.
Assist in onboarding new hires.
- Maintain and regularly update personnel records (e.g., staffing, attendance, training, leave, benefits, and performance evaluations).
- Support engagement and positive work relationships.
- Assist in coordinating team bonding activities, CSR initiatives, and other internal and client HR events.
- Support the identification of training needs and coordinate learning sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Manage the calendars of the HR Management Team and schedule meetings and internal HR events.
- Create and circulate surveys or feedback forms to gather insights for continuous improvement.
- Prepare HR reports including survey summaries, feedback analyses, and progress reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information and uphold HR best practices.
- Assist in reviewing and communicating company policies and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality support by following established HR standards.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
- Currently enrolled in the NYSC program or preparing to begin service.
- Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude.
