You will be responsible for providing support to the HR manager in various administrative tasks and assisting with HR processes.
You will gain practical experience in HR operations, policies, and procedures, and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Success in this position looks like effectively assisting with HR tasks, maintaining confidentiality, displaying professionalism in communication and behaviour, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including but not limited to filing, data entry, preparing HR documents, scheduling interviews, and managing HR calendars.
Assist with HR processes, such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and employee recordkeeping.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, and direct them to appropriate resources for further assistance.
Maintain and update HR databases and employee files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with organizing and coordinating HR events, training, and meetings.
Contribute to the development and improvement of HR processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with HR laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in HR or related field is a plus, but not required.
