    HR Advisor

    Job Description

    1. Employee Relations

    • Act as a point of contact for HR queries from staff and managers, dealing with issues where able or referring onto HR Manager if necessary.
    • Coordinate staff induction, especially for management staff.
    • Coordination of staff welfare activities, including creating and maintaining staff birthday calendar with scheduled bulk SMS greetings and e-mail reminders to all staff.

    2. Learning and Development

    • Develop and maintain inventory skill sets of various corporate positions to help plan suitable training programs in coordination with departmental heads and direct superiors.
    • Gathering data for training need analysis and preparing annual corporate training plan in conjunction with line managers.
    • Coordinate management training for staff using in-house or 3rd party resources.
    • Evaluate trainer competence, performance and effectiveness of training courses and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Conduct training needs analysis of management staff.
    • Coordinate with departmental heads on their manpower training needs.
    • Manage the revisions of training courses and evaluation methods as recommended by training specialists.
    • Recommend 3rd party training programs contracted for which inhouse

    3. Manpower Planning

    • Formulating plans for meeting the company's manpower requirement and ensuring proper utilisation of existing human resources to meet organisational objectives.
    • Managing manpower planning process and implementation of the manpower plans.
    • Determining workloads and advice on optimum staffing level requirements.
    • Preparing projections of manpower requirements.
    • Updating approved changes in the structure/layout of Company's Organisation structures.
    • Reviewing and advising departmental heads on job description writing for all positions and ensuring they are updated and maintained.
    • Ensure that manpower requisitions and staff movements are in accordance with the approved organization chart and staff establishment.
    • Prepare and develop the annual manpower training budgets.

    4. Administrative Functions:

    To support the HR/Admin Manager in the following areas:

    • Supervision of all Admin staff
    • Regular inspection of Head Office facilities/equipment, and reporting irregularities immediately.
    • Liaising with external contacts (i.e. HMOs, PFAs, and so on) to assure smooth operation of the department.

    Qualifications

    • First degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a HR Generalist
    • Experience working in a consulting firm will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of labor legislation
    • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (HRMS)
    • Ability to design clear and fair company policies
