Hotel Accountant (Female) at AHI Residence Limited

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports / Management Reports
• Review of Data Captured in Accounting Software And Correction of Entries To Ensure Accuracy In Reporting Incomes And Expenditures In Line With Policies And Other Relevant Regulations.
• Posting of Journal Entries Into Accounting Software
• Collection & Reconciliation Of Sales Proceeds From All Sales Points
• Writing of Cheques And Confirmation Letters to Banks.
• Regular consultation with Operations Co-ordinator For Disbursement of Funds For Operational And Capital Expenditure
• Liaison With Guests, Banks, Contractors/Service Providers, Tax Consultant ad External Auditors
• Preparation Of Monthly Staff Payroll Schedule And Payment Of Staff Salaries
• Supervision Of Accounts Assistant & Store Keeper
• Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register (Cost, Additions, Disposals, Depreciation etc).
• Ensuring Monthly Physical Stock taking And Proper Reconciliation of Both Physical And Ledger Values
• Preparation of Year End Audit Schedules For The External Auditors

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 -3 years work experience as an Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
