    Head, People and Culture

    Our client, a foremost learning institution in Lagos requires the service of HEAD, PEOPLE AND CULTURE you will be responsible for overseeing the human resources department in an organization ie. Recruitment and selection, Performance management, on boarding and off boarding, employee engagement etc..

    Location – Lagos

    Job Responsibilities

    • Recruiting new hires, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a positive work environment to support team performance
    • Ensuring that company policies are enforced and employees are treated fairly
    • Overseeing employee training programs to ensure that new hires are ready to work and current employees are prepared for any changes in job responsibilities
    • Conducting exit interviews with departing employees to learn why they are leaving the company and how they could be retained in the future
    • Offering counseling services to employees with personal problems that have affected their performance at work
    • Reviewing corporate policies on topics such as sexual harassment, ethics violations, conflicts of interest, and confidentiality issues to ensure compliance
    • Establishing employee recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding contributions by employees
    • Serving as a liaison between employees and management to address concerns and resolve issues
    • Implementing new hiring practices to improve the quality of candidates and reduce recruiting costs

    Qualification and requirements

    • HND/BSc/MSc/MBA in human resource management A degree in human resources, organizational development, psychology or another related field is often preferred.
    • 15 years relevance work experience as Human resource
    • Relevant certitcation in Human resource e.g CIPM, SHRM etc., is an added advantage
    • Good leadership ability
    • Communication and correspondence skill
    • Conflict resolution
    • Emotional intelligence
    • Team-work

    Salary – Open to Negotiation
