    Head of Treasury and Risk Compliance Manager

    Role Summary

    • The Head of Treasury & Risk is responsible for overseeing the organization’s treasury operations, liquidity management, and enterprise risk framework in line with regulatory requirements, internal governance standards, and best market practices. The role ensures effective cash management, funding strategy, financial risk mitigation, and compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and other applicable financial regulations. The position supports strategic decision-making, capital efficiency, and financial stability across advisory, investment, and transaction activities.

    Key Responsibilities
    Treasury Management

    • Oversee daily treasury operations including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and funding requirements.
    • Develop and implement treasury policies covering cash management, investments, and banking relationships.
    • Manage relationships with banks, custodians, and financial institutions.
    • Optimize capital structure and funding strategies in line with business objectives.
    • Monitor foreign exchange exposure, interest rate risk, and counterparty risk.

    Risk Management & Governance

    • Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
    • Identify, assess, monitor, and report financial, operational, market, and regulatory risks.
    • Ensure compliance with SEC rules, risk-based supervision requirements, and internal control standards.
    • Develop and enforce risk policies, limits, and controls across business lines.
    • Support investment and transaction teams with risk assessment and due diligence reviews.

    Compliance & Regulatory Interface

    • Work closely with Compliance to ensure adherence to SEC regulations and capital market guidelines.
    • Prepare and review risk and treasury reports for regulators, management, and the Board.
    • Support internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
    • Ensure segregation of duties and strong internal control systems.

    Strategic & Management Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic input on funding, capital allocation, and balance sheet management.
    • Advise executive management on risk implications of new products, mandates, and structures.
    • Lead and develop treasury and risk management staff.
    • Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and treasury performance metrics.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Master’s degree and/or professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, or similar) is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 8–12 years relevant experience in treasury, risk management, or financial control within financial services, investment banking, asset management, or capital markets.
    • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, risk management frameworks, and financial instruments.

    • Deep understanding of financial, market, and operational risks.
    • Excellent analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills.

    • Liquidity adequacy and cash flow stability.
    • Compliance with risk limits and regulatory requirements.

    • Timeliness and accuracy of treasury and risk reports.
    • Audit and regulatory examination outcomes.
