    Head of Sales

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Drive sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales target set by the company.
    • Implement retention strategies to ensure POLO can continue to have mutually beneficial relationships with target customers.
    • Develop and implement new customer acquisition strategies.
    • Build and maintain a robust customer base portfolio.
    • Total P&L accountability and annual budget sales planning and implementation.
    • Identify our competitors and evaluate their strategies to determine their strength and weaknesses relative to our own products and services.
    • Have a weekly sales team performance review and check on gap in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps.
    • Ensure that a learning culture is built across the sales team, that product knowledge and role play is conducted across boutiques at least once a week.

    SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATION

    • Minimum of first degree in Business Administration or related field;
    • Foreign degree from a recognized university and professional qualification would be an added advantage;
    • Years of exeprience managing a team in prefearably in the  luxury retail business; selling to HNIs and corporate organizations;
    • Proven ability to drive results and to manage teams;
    • Integrity;
    • Strong work ethic;
    • Ability to learn.
    • Excellent communication skills;
    • Great interpersonal skills;
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Packages.
