Job Summary

• The Head of International Desk provides strategic leadership, oversight, and coordination for AYGF’s foreign offices, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, strategic goals, and funding requirements.
• This role is responsible for maintaining well-coordinated international operations by securing grants, mobilizing resources, and supporting country-level activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all foreign offices to ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
• Establish and manage relationships with donors, government bodies, research institutions, and key stakeholders to support international programs.
• Lead fundraising efforts, develop and submit funding proposals, and secure financial resources to sustain country operations and programs.
• Ensure financial accountability, budget adherence, and impact measurement across international offices, while tracking program effectiveness.
• Strengthen country office teams through training, provide technical support, and implement risk mitigation strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in an international NGO or development organization, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing multi-country operations, grants, and partnerships.
• Bachelor degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience in Grant mobilization and management
• Experience in proposal development and writing
• Experience in managing multiple teams across various department
• Experience in conducting desk reviews and report writing.
