This is a supervisory role within the Project Management Office; the role requires the development of engineering strategies for projects, working with other members of the PMO Unit and Operations Department. Please note that while the job is location-based, it also necessitates site visits to project locations for data harvesting and feedback
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in the engineering field, degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
A master's degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration may be an added advantage
Any project management certification may be an advantage.
COREN Registration is mandatory.
A minimum of 10 years of hands-on engineering design, 5 years in a supervisory or management position, total of 15 years’ experience.
Working knowledge of engineering practices and procedures in the oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
Proven supervisory and technical skills.
Must be emotionally intelligent.
Hands-on working knowledge of most structural and civil engineering design tools, and must have working knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
Must be technologically proficient with the following tools - STAAD PRO, PROKON, TEKLA, AUTOCAD, SAP2000, AUTODESK REVITS, PROTA, POWER BI
Must understand and practice the development of subordinate engineers and interns.
