Head of Accounts/Accountant of Financial Controller
As our Head of Accounts/Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our financial health, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Do
Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, adhering to all accounting standards and best practices.
Reconcile bank statements, manage month-end closing procedures, and prepare financial reports for management review.
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
Oversee internal controls, develop and implement accounting policies, and manage a team of accounting professionals.
Who You Are
A highly motivated and organized accounting professional with a minimum of 8+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to accounting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel).
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an ICAN – Chartered Accountant qualification and/or membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a strong plus.
