Responsibilities

• Develop Company’s internal control framework, ensure its implementation andmonitor compliance.
• Formulate policies and procedures to improve internal controls, compliance, andefficiency.
• Lead the process for internal controls reviews across the Company.
• Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework andcontrol deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, andescalation
• Reviewing and appraising the soundness, effectiveness, and proper application ofaccounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and controls andtimeliness of documentation generation.
• Assessing the adequacy and extent of programs designed to safeguardorganization assets.
• Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal, state and localregulations.
• Coordinate with functional teams for necessary training to the staff for thepurpose of improving control adherence.

Performance Indicator:

• Timely report.
• Zero error rate and irregularities.
• Creating and re‐evaluating compliance policies.
• Ensuring total compliance with policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or any other related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in internal control and compliance.
• Professional qualification in ICAN, ACA, ACCA.
• Relevant postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
