    Group Performance Officer

    Job Opportunity:

    Group Finance Officer Location: Abuja Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking to hire a Group Performance Officer who will be responsible for supporting the Group’s financial strategy through in-depth analysis, reporting, forecasting, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will contribute to group-wide financial planning, performance monitoring, and compliance initiatives, while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to enhance financial decision-making and business efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Consolidate and review financial statements and reports from subsidiaries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with Group standards.
    • Conduct detailed variance analysis, trend evaluations, and KPI tracking to support business performance reviews.
    • Lead or co-lead financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Develop financial models to support corporate finance initiatives such as funding analysis, investment appraisal, and business case evaluations.
    • Support the execution of risk assessments and compliance reviews across subsidiaries; assist in refining financial policies in line with regulatory updates.
    • Monitor intercompany transactions and support transfer pricing documentation and compliance efforts.
    • Ensure effective financial documentation and data management in line with audit and regulatory requirements.
    • Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.

    Qualifications:

    Educational Qualifications/Training

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ICAN, CPA) is highly desirable.
    • A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is an advantage.
    • Relevant training in financial modeling, data analysis, or corporate finance is a strong advantage.

    KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

    • 3–6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A roles.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in financial reporting and performance analysis.
    • Working knowledge of budgeting processes, forecasting techniques, and financial controls.
    • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and/or financial modeling software; experience with ERP tools like SAP is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables across teams and timelines.
