This is a full-time role for a Geography Teacher located in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos - for Rugby School Nigeria.
The Geography Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons on geographical concepts.
Key responsibilities include planning lesson content, delivering lectures, leading classroom discussions, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and support.
The role also entails fostering a positive and interactive learning environment while adhering to the school's educational standards. Teaching both GCSE and A Level students
Qualifications
Qualified Teacher status and relevant certifications
Proficiency in Geography and a strong understanding of subject matter
Skills in Lesson Planning and Education delivery
Demonstrated ability and experience in Teaching and mentoring students
Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Geography, or a related field
Masters in Geography or Humanities based subject
Previous experience in international education is an added advantage
