We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented General Manager / Chief Operating Officer (GM/COO) to lead our Renewable Energy Division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's market share, building high-performing teams, strengthening strategic partnerships, and ensuring the delivery of innovative energy solutions that meet customer needs.
Job Description
Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Renewable Energy Division to achieve business growth and profitability.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the division, ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence.
Drive business development initiatives, secure new clients, and strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
Lead the sales function to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's market share in solar and inverter solutions.
Manage the successful execution of renewable energy projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for cross-functional teams across sales, engineering, operations, and customer service.
Monitor financial performance, manage forecasts, budgets, and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and new business opportunities to support innovation and long-term growth.
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of quality, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulatory requirements while driving continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Master's degree (MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification) is an added advantage.
8–10 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the renewable energy, solar, inverter, electrical engineering, or power sector.
Demonstrated success in business development, operations management, and strategic leadership.
Strong understanding of Nigeria's renewable energy landscape, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
Proven experience managing large-scale solar or inverter projects.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business reporting tools.
