    Business Developer Specialist

    About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, commercially sharp Business Developer to spearhead our asset recovery and revenue-generation initiatives. In this crucial turnaround phase, your focus will not be on speculative R&D or brainstorming ideas, but on executing high-stakes deals: liquidating assets, securing joint-venture partners, and driving the immediate cash flow needed to stabilize our balance sheet.

If you have an aggressive deal-closing mindset, deep local market connections, and the resilience to turn distressed real estate portfolios into liquidity, we want to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Asset Monetization & Sales: Identify, pitch, and close high-net-worth buyers, corporate investors, and asset management firms for bulk or discounted property liquidations.
    • Joint-Venture & Land-Swap Structuring: Broker creative JV partnerships and land-swap agreements on undeveloped land banking assets to generate revenue without heavy capital expenditure.
    • Interim Revenue Generation: Maximize short-term rental yields, interim commercial uses, or short-term lease agreements for vacant properties to offset holding costs.
    • Stakeholder & Creditor Alignment: Coordinate commercial negotiations to settle outstanding liabilities, clear encumbrances, and align asset disposal strategies with ongoing financial restructuring protocols.
    • Market Execution: Cut through market friction to source reliable institutional buyers, bypass retail bottlenecks, and fast-track transactions.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in real estate sales, business development, distressed asset disposal, or corporate finance.
    • Demonstrated track record of negotiating and closing high-value property transactions in the Nigerian market.
    • Working knowledge of Nigerian land titles (C of O, Governor's Consent, Gazette), property valuation, and real estate legal frameworks.
    • Exceptional negotiation, deal-structuring, and B2B networking capabilities with access to a robust network of investors, developers, and high-net-worth individuals.
    • Unyielding resilience, high commercial acumen, and a performance-driven focus on cash recovery and bottom-line outcomes.

    Compensation & Incentive Structure

We recognize the heavy impact of this role. Compensation combines a competitive base salary with an aggressive, performance-linked commission structure tied directly to realized liquidity and successful deal closures.
