We need a gender inclusion professional who is both strategic and practical. The Gender Inclusion Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of gender-responsive systems and initiatives, turning inclusion commitments into measurable outcomes that promote equity, dignity, and opportunity for all—while ensuring a strong safeguarding lens across interactions with vulnerable groups.

You Will

• Assess gender gaps across programs, operations, and communities, providing insights to guide inclusive decision-making.
• Develop and implement Babban Gona’s gender inclusion strategies, frameworks, and policies.
• Design interventions that expand women’s participation, leadership, and access to resources.
• Identify gender-related risks and ensure safeguards that promote safety, fairness, and well-being.
• Build organizational capacity by training teams on gender sensitivity, equitable practices, and inclusive leadership.

You Should Have

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, Social Development, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in gender inclusion, women’s empowerment, and social development.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement gender inclusion frameworks, policies, and interventions.
• Safeguarding-conscious: Ability to work responsibly with vulnerable persons, ensuring their safety and dignity are respected.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders — including community groups, regulators, development partners, donors, and internal teams — to advance gender equity objectives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate gender-disaggregated data and qualitative insights into actionable strategies and program recommendations.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to influence, educate, and build buy-in across teams and leadership.
