- The successful candidate will oversee multiple construction projects or major project phases, providing leadership to Construction Project Managers and ensuring that assigned projects are delivered in accordance with approved *scope, programme, budget, quality and HSE standards*.
- The Project Manager will report operationally to the *Director of Construction* and will play a key role in strengthening project governance, improving construction productivity, resolving operational challenges and ensuring consistent project delivery across the Company's construction programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and oversee assigned construction projects from mobilisation through completion.
- Supervise and provide leadership to Construction Project Managers and project teams.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with approved execution plans, programmes and delivery objectives.
- Monitor achievement of project milestones and intervene where performance falls below expectations.
- Coordinate project priorities, resources and delivery requirements across multiple sites.
- Provide technical and operational leadership to project teams.
Programme & Project Controls
- Integrate construction schedules across multiple projects.
- Monitor project programmes, milestones and critical activities.
- Identify project interdependencies, scheduling conflicts and operational risks.
- Coordinate recovery plans for delayed or underperforming projects.
- Monitor project costs and ensure effective budget management.
- Promote efficient utilisation of labour, equipment, materials and other construction resources.
Technical & Construction Oversight
- Review engineering and construction activities across assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and engineering standards.
- Provide technical guidance to Construction Project Managers and Site Engineers.
- Support the resolution of complex technical and operational challenges.
- Monitor construction methodologies and promote improved delivery practices.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Conduct routine project and site quality inspections.
- Monitor compliance with approved quality standards and procedures.
- Review quality issues and corrective action plans.
- Ensure recurring quality failures are identified and addressed.
- Drive continuous improvement in construction practices and workmanship.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Ensure implementation of approved HSE procedures across assigned projects.
- Monitor site safety performance and compliance.
- Review incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure unsafe practices are promptly addressed.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all assigned construction sites.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and develop Construction Project Managers, Site Engineers and other project personnel.
- Monitor the performance of supervised Project Managers.
- Identify training and development needs within project teams.
- Promote knowledge sharing and adoption of construction best practices.
- Support succession planning and leadership development within the construction function.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and relevant internal departments.
- Participate in project and construction coordination meetings.
- Support effective resolution of stakeholder and operational issues.
- Escalate significant project risks, delays, quality concerns and resource constraints to the Director of Construction.
- Provide consolidated project performance information to senior management.
AUTHORITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
The Project Manager will be authorised to:
- Direct activities across assigned construction projects.
- Coordinate project resources within approved plans.
- Provide operational direction to Construction Project Managers and project teams.
- Require corrective actions where project performance falls below approved standards.
- Recommend technical, operational and process improvements.
- Escalate significant risks, delays, quality and cost concerns to the Director of Construction.
- Recommend recognition, corrective measures or other appropriate actions regarding project personnel based on performance.
- The role will operate within the Company's approved delegation of authority and will not independently approve changes to project scope, contractual obligations or capital expenditure beyond authorised limits.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced construction and project management professional with a proven track record of successfully coordinating *multiple construction projects and leading project management teams.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 10–12 years of relevant construction and project management experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong experience supervising and developing Construction Project Managers or equivalent project leadership roles.
- Demonstrable experience managing large and multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and project controls.
- Experience in residential estate development, building construction and/or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, construction specifications and technical standards.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Strong understanding and practical experience enforcing HSE standards.
- Proven ability to monitor project budgets, resources, productivity and delivery performance.
